At the end of this course the trainees will have gained knowledge and be able to:
* Understand the basic operation of the plant
* Understand the plants up and down-stream operations and how it contributes to the overall refinery
* Understand the processes and system that make up the crude unit
* Have a basic knowledge of the technology in use for the crude unit
* Demonstrate their knowledge of the new crude unit through active participation in the classroom and breakaway discussions

The course will have an assessment in the form of an on-line assessment to determine progression in this learning program
